Polypropylene glycol (Polypropylene glycol), also known as propylene glycol, is a polymer with the formula H(C3H6O)nOH, a colorless to yellowish viscous liquid. Non-volatile. Non-corrosive. General product molecular weight Chemicalbook400~2050. Lower molecular weight polymers are soluble in water. Higher molecular weight polymers are only slightly soluble in water, soluble in oils, many hydrocarbons and aliphatic alcohols, ketones, esters, etc.

Application

1, PPG series soluble in toluene, ethanol, trichloroethylene and other organic solvents, PPG200, 400, 600 soluble in water, with lubrication, solubilization, defoaming, antistatic properties. PPG-200 can be used as a dispersant for pigments.

2. In cosmetics, PPG400~2000 is used as emollient, softener and lubricant.

3. Used as anti-foam agent in paint and hydraulic oil, anti-foam agent in synthetic rubber and latex processing, refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluid, viscosity improvement agent.

4, used as an intermediate for esterification, etherification and polycondensation reaction.

5, used as a release agent, solvent, synthetic oil additives, for water-soluble cutting fluid, roller oil, hydraulic oil additives, high temperature lubricants, rubber internal lubricants and external lubricants.

6, PPG-2000~8000 has excellent lubrication, anti-foam, heat and freeze resistance performance;

7, PPG-3000~8000 is mainly used as a combination of polyether components, the production of polyurethane foam;

8, PPG-3000~8000 can be used directly or after esterification for the production of plasticizers, lubricants;
